AI Visibility ReportRedmond2026
When guests ask AI where to stay in Redmond, a few properties get named. This is how to become one of them.
Here is what it reads first, and what your page has to say to be one of them.
What it understood from that
Then it looks for a Redmond page that answers all of those. Most pages say charming and conveniently located, which answers none of them.
The page that gets named
"Parking for two cars is included, five minutes to Microsoft by car, and a ten minute walk to several restaurants in Redmond Town Center."
What guests ask about Redmond, and what to say back
01 Say who your place is for
AI matches a guest against what pages say about themselves. These are the ones worth claiming here.
1 of 3 guest types
"Best place to stay in Redmond for business traveler"
Say about your place
State your driving time to Microsoft and Amazon campuses, and mention desk space and blackout curtains.
"Best place to stay in Redmond for family with young kids"
Say about your place
Mention if you have a crib or high chair, and how long it takes to walk to parks or playgrounds.
"Best place to stay in Redmond for event visitor"
Say about your place
Say how many cars fit in your parking spot and the travel time to Marymoor Park or Redmond Town Center.
02 Answer what guests ask
AI answers these from whoever published a real number. Each card says what yours should be.
1 of 6 questions
Answer withFive to fifteen minutes by car, depending on your location in Redmond.
Answer withYes, Sound Transit routes 542 and 545 run between Redmond and downtown Seattle.
Answer withIt is about a twenty minute walk from Redmond Town Center.
Answer withMany condos have quiet hours from 10pm, posted by each HOA.
Answer withRedmond Derby Days in July may close some downtown streets for a weekend.
Answer withSafeway and Trader Joe's are less than a fifteen minute walk from downtown accommodations.
03 Write a page for each big event
Each one is a search that does not exist the rest of the year, and it goes to whoever says how they suit that trip.
Every market has four or five of these. Each one is a page nobody has written, which is why they are the cheapest searches to take.
1 of 1 events
"Best place to stay for Redmond Arts Festival fills hotel rooms"
SourceOn each of those pages, say
- How many it sleeps, and in what beds
- Parking, and whether a trailer or van fits
- Your own time from the venue
- Whether you take a short stay that week
- What a group can do back at the property
Write one page per event, not one line on your home page. The lesson is Answer what guests ask, 6 minutes.
04 Write an honest off season page
AI describes your seasons whether you weigh in or not. Publish yours and be the page it quotes.
"Is Redmond worth visiting in the off season?"
Say about your place
- What your nightly rate drops to in the quiet months
- What is still open nearby then, and what is not
- Whether you do weekly or monthly stays out of season
- What the weather does, in degrees and rainfall
- Who that stretch suits: remote work, older guests, no crowds
Nobody publishes an honest off season page, so the question goes unanswered in most markets. The lesson is Write about where you are, 5 minutes.
Local rules, and where to read them
Background and links, not the work. A page that states its own terms plainly gets quoted over one that is vague.
- A short‑term rental in Redmond is a dwelling or part of a dwelling offered for rent for fewer than 30 consecutive nights, not counted as a hotel, motel, or bed and breakfast.
- If the owner lives in the dwelling at least six months per year and rents fewer than three rooms, it is not considered a short‑term rental.
- If the same person uses the unit for 30 or more consecutive nights, it is not a short‑term rental.
- Applicants must submit a signed City of Redmond Short‑Term Rental Safety Checklist when applying for or renewing a business license.
Hotels pay lodging taxes that do not apply to rentals, and no night cap applies to them, so this is a different list, not the same one. Check yours before you write it up.
Now go and write it
Everything above is what to say about Redmond. The course is how to say it so a machine can use it, and it carries Redmond with you.
